Internalizing Healthy Eating Behaviors

The overall statistics for eating disorder relapse following inpatient treatment has been unacceptably high. This presentation by rebecca Cooper will introduce a systematic approach to achieve long-term eating disorder recovery after treatment. The presentation shows how to direct the client toward developing and caring for an internal Self, as opposed to relying on external controls. The major goals for long term recovery are outlined with concrete steps to achieve the goals. The workshop includes a case study, experiential exercises, relative scientific information, and a guided imagery.
