Integrative medicine expert, Dr. Carolyn Coker-Ross has created a unique integrative medicine approach offering new skills and tools to use in treating clients with eating disorders. In this training, Dr. Ross shares the evidence to support the use of complementary therapies in treating the spectrum of eating disorders. Her approach is “whole person” using her back ground in preventative medicine, holistic and alternative therapies. She lays the path for therapists and counselors and teaches how to nurture eating disordered clients back to health; by identifying behavioral patterns and providing coping mechanisms for treating this client.
